The New England Patriots are trading center Garrett Bradbury to the Chicago Bears, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The Patriots will receive a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Bears were in need of a center after Drew Dalman announced his retirement Tuesday. The 27-year-old was one year into a three-year, $42-million deal and coming off a Pro Bowl campaign.

Bradbury spent the first six seasons of his career with the Minnesota Vikings before signing with New England last offseason on a two-year deal worth $9.5 million. He started all 17 regular-season games for the Patriots and their four playoff contests, which culminated in a Super Bowl loss.

The 30-year-old has been a plug-in starter since entering the league, making 105 starts across his seven seasons.

Bradbury is due $3.7 million in base salary in 2026, per Over the Cap.
