The Philadelphia Eagles have received trade calls on Jalen Carter, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.

However, it's unclear if Philly is willing to deal the two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle. The report comes after the Eagles signed nose tackle Jordan Davis to a three-year, $78-million extension Saturday.

Carter is now eligible to sign an extension after completing his third NFL campaign. He's been with the Eagles since they moved up in the 2023 draft to select him ninth overall out of Georgia.

The 24-year-old underwent a procedure on both shoulders in early December that limited him to just 11 games in 2025. He was also ejected seconds into the NFL's regular-season opener against the Dallas Cowboys for spitting on Dak Prescott.

Despite missing significant time last year, Carter's 41 quarterback pressures were 10th among all defensive tackles in the league. He's been one of the most disruptive interior rushers over the last three years, ranking third in hurries since 2023, behind only Chris Jones and Jeffery Simmons, according to TruMedia.

The Eagles are reportedly expected to be active in the pass-rusher market next week when the new league year opens. They are attempting to re-sign Jaelan Phillips, who will command over $20 million per season on a new contract, according to Fowler. Philly has also reportedly contacted the Minnesota Vikings about potentially trading for pass-rusher Jonathan Greenard.

Philly currently has just over $13 million in cap space, according to Spotrac. They can begin negotiating with free agents when the legal tampering period opens at 12:00 p.m. ET on Monday.
