New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara will be sidelined for at least the next month after spraining his MCL at practice Tuesday, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Kamara's exit was one of many notable events during a joint practice between New Orleans and the Dallas Cowboys, with several fights breaking out and Saints wide receiver Ronnie Bell being carted off due to heat-related issues.
The Saints' backfield is led by Kamara and free-agent signee Travis Etienne, who's coming off a 1,107-yard rushing campaign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Kamara recorded a career-low 471 rushing yards in 2025 and produced under 1,000 yards from scrimmage for the first time in his career (657). The 31-year-old is entering the final year of his contract.
