Denver Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle aggravated a chest injury in a Week 7 win over the Arizona Cardinals, leaving his status uncertain for Sunday's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Waddle's availability will be determined by his practice participation this week.
The 27-year-old had been nursing a chest injury prior to the meeting with the Cardinals. Leading up to the game, he was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday before being a full participant Friday.
The Broncos acquired Waddle in a trade with the Miami Dolphins this past offseason, but he's struggled to make an impact in an offense that ranks 24th in scoring. Waddle has 276 receiving yards and one touchdown through seven games.
The Broncos (5-2) enter Sunday's contest against the Chiefs (5-1) on a three-game winning streak.
