The San Diego Chargers announced the re-signing of offensive lineman Rich Ohrnberger to a one-year contract Wednesday. Ohrnberger is a versatile piece of the Chargers offensive line, with the ability to play center as well as guard.
Ohrnberger was a fourth-round pick of the Patriots in 2009 and after three seasons in New England, he joined Arizona in 2012 and started four games for the Cardinals. One year later he signed on with the Chargers and appeared in 13 games with one start last season.
Ohrnberger also stepped in for an injured Nick Hardwick during San Diego's Wild Card win over the Bengals and took part in both playoff games.
