Lululemon enrages Bills fans with 'wide right, no goal' mosaic

When Scott Norwood missed a 47-yard field goal in Super Bowl XXV to dash the hopes of Buffalo Bills fans, no one could envision a scenario in which a stretchy pants manufacturer would rub it in the city's collective faces 23 years later.

That is exactly what happened when a Buffalo Lululemon store installed a mosaic featuring the two most painful phrases for Buffalo sports fans, "Wide right," punctuated by "No goal," a reference to Brett Hull's 1999 Stanley Cup winner that violated an obvious NHL rule.

The company responded to the complaint with two perfectly crafted tweets combining new age corporate speak, a hint of condescension and a deafness of tone that would make Roger Goodell proud.

The store has since regrouped, deciding to take the most appropriate action.
