Titans name Zach Mettenberger starter Sunday vs. Texans
As expected, the Tennessee Titans have officially made a change at quarterback ahead of Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.
With Jake Locker and Charlie Whitehurst having struggled through seven games to start the season, rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger will make his first-career start.

A strong-armed quarterback with good size, Mettenberger should allow the Titans' passing game to open up to the fullest, ideally taking advantage of the wide receivers' ability to make plays down field.
Evaluating Mettenberger in the starting role for the rest of the season will help the Titans to determine if the quarterback position is indeed one they will look to address with what is certain to be an early selection in the 2015 draft.
