Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei was forced to leave and has been ruled out of Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles after a leg injury suffered late in the third quarter.
Lotulelei appeared to badly roll his ankle when running after a play, and was attended to by trainers on the field before being carted to the locker room.
The good news is nothing appears to be broken.

A first-round pick in 2013, Lotulelei has since been a key player on the Panthers' defensive front, and losing him for any significant period of time would certainly hurt an already struggling unit.
