Redskins' Ryan Clark rips into defense after loss to Colts
Brian Spurlock / USA TODAY Sports
Nothing is going right for the Washington Redskins' defense and Ryan Clark is fed up.
Washington allowed 487 total yards and five touchdown passes by Andrew Luck in a 49-27 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.
The Redskins dropped to 3-9 with the loss, and Clark appears to be reaching his breaking point.
Clark told the Washington Post's Liz Clarke that if defensive coordinator Jim Haslett simplifies the defense any further, his 13-year-old son could suit up for the embattled Redskins.
A bit of hyperbole to be sure - unless Clark's son has an offer from Alabama's Nick Saban that we don't know about. Regardless, tensions have reached a boiling point in the nation's capital and the Redskins have little to play for in their final four games.
