Ravens beat Dolphins to stay alive in AFC North
Brad Barr / USA TODAY Sports
The Baltimore Ravens (8-5) kept their AFC North title aspirations alive with a 28-13 win over the Miami Dolphins (7-6). With the win, Baltimore is also in good position to get a wild-card spot.
The Dolphins likely need to win out and get some help, but it doesn't look good as they play the New England Patriots next week.
Here's what you need to know:
- Joe Flacco threw for 269 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He added seven rushes for 16 yards and a touchdown.
- The Ravens pressured Ryan Tannehill all day, sacking him six times and tallying nine quarterback hits.
- The Dolphins managed just 249 yards of total offense.
- Safety Louis Delmas was carted off the field with what looked like a significant leg injury.
- The Ravens were able to manage 156 yards on the ground from a combination of Justin Forsett, Bernard Pierce and Lorenzo Taliaferro.
- Wide receiver Torrey Smith was active but didn't catch a single pass in the game after limping through warmups.
