On the heels of a weekend DUI arrest, cornerback Victor Hampton has been released by the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced Monday.
Hampton joined the Ravens on a reserve/future contract in January after spending the 2014 season between the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants, but his arrest appears to have been enough for the Ravens to make the quick decision to part ways.
The 22-year-old was also cited for reckless driving, speeding and open container violations after being pulled over for travelling 100 mph in a 55 mph zone.
