Report: Texans release Thad Lewis

The Houston Texans released quarterback Thad Lewis, according to Brian T. Smith of the Houston Chronicle. 

Lewis did not appear in any games and last started for the Buffalo Bills in 2013. 

The 27-year-old previously had stints with the St. Louis Rams, Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and Bills.
