49ers' Bruce Miller arrested on spousal battery charge

San Francisco 49ers fullback Bruce Miller was arrested Thursday in Santa Clara, Calif., on a charge of spousal battery.
The 49ers released a statement on the matter Monday, as transcribed by Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area:
The San Francisco 49ers organization is aware of the matter involving Bruce Miller. We were disappointed to learn of these reports and will do our due diligence in collecting all relevant information.
The 27-year-old has spent his entire four-year NFL career with the 49ers, appearing in 61 games.
According to Mindi Bach of CSN Bay Area, the charge for spousal battery is listed as a misdemeanour in the police report.
