The Cincinnati Bengals have brought back another familiar face on the defensive front, officially signing free-agent tackle Pat Sims on Friday.
A former third-round pick of the Bengals, Sims spent the first five years of his career in Cincinnati before leaving as a free agent to join the Oakland Raiders in 2013.
Sims is a key addition to the team's interior defensive line rotation that struggled against the run throughout the 2014 season, surrendering 116.3 yards per game.
The 29-year-old appeared in 60 games and made 23 starts in his first stint with the Bengals, recording five sacks and 137 total tackles.
