Jets officially sign Joe Mays

The New York Jets officially signed linebacker Joe Mays on Monday.
New York was first reported to be showing interest in the seven-year veteran Wednesday.
Mays has played for four different teams over the course of his career thus far, including three starts in eight games with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2014.
A productive run defender, Mays would have the opportunity to compete for early-down snaps as part of an already strong Jets defensive front.
