The Jacksonville Jaguars were one of the NFL's most productive teams at the outset of free agency, and they may not be done upgrading their roster just yet.
Looking to add a veteran presence to a young group of wide receivers, the Jaguars are hosting Greg Jennings on a free-agent visit Monday, according to a Pro Football Talk report.
Jennings spent the first seven years of his career with the Green Bay Packers before moving on to join the division-rival Minnesota Vikings for the past two seasons. He was a fairly consistent producer throughout his time at both stops.
While there has yet to be any indication of the two sides closing in on a deal, official team visits are often an important step toward that result.
At 31 years old, Jennings certainly no longer plays with the speed he once did, but his strength and consistency as a route-runner would still make him a valuable player to pair with young quarterback Blake Bortles.
Jennings is coming off a fairly productive 2014 campaign with the Vikings, in which he appeared in all 16 regular-season games, recording 59 receptions for 742 yards and six touchdowns.
