Conventional wisdom suggests that a draft class can't truly be judged until the players involved are at least three years into their NFL careers, but where's the fun in that?
With the 2015 NFL Draft now in the books, there are a few teams whose selections stand out above the rest, and others who were simply unable to stack up.
Winners
Jacksonville Jaguars

Don't look now, but the Jaguars may just be ready to take the next step. Coming off a highly productive few weeks of free agency, adding one of this year's best draft classes certainly won't hurt their chances.
Jacksonville was always going to add a solid player with the third overall pick in the first round, and doing so with Dante Fowler Jr. saw them fill a pressing need at the edge rush position. Where this class becomes particularly impressive, however, is with its depth. The Jaguars used their next two picks to add a potential every-down running back in T.J. Yeldon and a likely starter on the interior offensive front in A.J. Cann.
Fourth-round safety James Sample and fifth-round wide receiver Rashad Greene will both compete for roles as rookies, and finding defensive tackle Michael Bennett in the sixth round could very well end up the steal of this draft overall. With Sen'Derrick Marks still recovering from a knee injury, Bennett could end up the starter at three-technique defensive tackle from Day 1.
Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons got things underway by selecting Vic Beasley in the first round, filling a massive need on the defensive edge with the most explosive pass rusher in this class, and a player who has drawn comparisons to Von Miller.
Subsequent selections of cornerback Jalen Collins, running back Tevin Coleman and wide receiver Justin Hardy all filled roster needs and came with solid value at their respective spots. Being able to land defensive tackle Grady Jarrett on Day 3 just tops it off.
Jarrett was thought by many to be a potential early-round player and his fall to the fifth round was one of the more confusing developments of the weekend. The Falcons took full advantage with the 137th overall pick, however, filling a need on the interior defensive front with the best player on the board.
Minnesota Vikings

After getting a top cornerback talent in Trae Waynes at No. 11, Minnesota found great value at linebacker with Eric Kendricks in the second round and a potentially explosive edge rush talent in Danielle Hunter in the third.
As good as those three players could prove to be before long, the best pick of this particular class may be T.J. Clemmings, who the Vikings somehow managed to grab in the fourth round. Sure, the Pittsburgh product may have fallen due to some injury concerns, but there's a reason he was considered a potential first-round prospect heading into the draft.
Losers
Indianapolis Colts

The Colts' failure to truly address either the offensive line or the defensive side front in free agency was overlooked due to the signings of Andre Johnson and Frank Gore. After all, they could always fill those holes in the draft, right? Well, they didn't.
Explosive receiver Phillip Dorsett may end up being a productive player, but the Colts passing up the first-round opportunity to either better protect their franchise signal caller or add to a weak defensive front made for one of the most puzzling picks in the draft – especially considering they wouldn't pick again until the third round.
This team will be expected to contend for the Super Bowl this season, but this draft class may not do much to help them get there.
Carolina Panthers

With a strong defense already in place, the Panthers' No. 1 priority in this draft should have been to finally get Cam Newton some help on the offensive side of the ball.
While second-round pick Devin Funchess will be an interesting player to team with Kelvin Benjamin out wide, that offensive line is still a mess and Carolina didn't address the position until their third-round selection of Daryl Williams.
Shaq Thompson was more than worthy of coming off the board where he did in the first round, but not capitalizing on the opportunity to add a top talent on the offensive front may be what keeps the Panthers from taking the next step in 2015.
Buffalo Bills

Second-round cornerback Ronald Darby will have an opportunity to earn a starting role in the secondary before long, but not having a first-round pick really hurt the Bills in this year's draft.
Aside from the quarterback position, this looks like a team that's ready to contend in the AFC. However, the missing first-round selection likely kept the Bills from adding any instant-impact players, and it's worth wondering whether they could have used such a pick to put together a blockbuster package and move up for a top signal caller.
