Miles Burris says he's been released by Raiders

The Oakland Raiders are set to release Miles Burris, bringing an end to the linebacker's three-year tenure with the team.
Burris announced the expected move on his official Instagram account Monday.
A 2012 fourth-round selection out of San Diego State, Burris held a contributing role on defense for the majority of his time in Oakland, starting 31 of 38 games.
Following a 2014 campaign in which he struggled to make an impact, starting all 16 games at middle linebacker, the Raiders made several additions to the position group in both free agency and this past weekend's draft.
Still just 26, Burris should be able to catch on with another team quickly, likely earning himself a reserve and special teams role heading into next season.
