The Cincinnati Bengals released wide receiver Denarius Moore as part of several roster moves made Monday.
Moore joined the Bengals this offseason after spending the first four years of his career with the Oakland Raiders, and reuniting with offensive coordinator Hue Jackson initially appeared to present him with a favorable opportunity to earn a roster spot.
The healthy return of Marvin Jones has crowded the top of the receiver depth chart, however, and Moore now hits free agency in search of another opportunity heading into 2015.
Cincinnati also waived defensive tackle Kwame Geathers, linebacker Nico Johnson, and defensive end Sam Montgomery.
