The Cleveland Browns are moving running back Shaun Draughn from the practice squad to their active roster, according to agent Sean Stellato.
Taking the place of Terrelle Pryor, who was waived by the club this week, Draughn provides the Browns with some added depth in the offensive backfield.
Cleveland's Week 1 matchup against the New York Jets may represent Draughn's best opportunity to see carries, as it remains unclear whether Duke Johnson will have a feature role after having dealt with a concussion.
Draughn has spent time with a number of teams over the course of his four-year career thus far, including a four-game stint with the Browns in 2014.
