Miami Dolphins tight end Dion Sims and defensive end Olivier Vernon were forced from Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins with first-half injuries.
Sims was carted to the locker room after going to the ground on an attempted touchdown catch and was later ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion.
Vernon, Miami's starting defensive end opposite Cameron Wake, left with an ankle injury before eventually making his return.
