Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman is taking his talents to the Fall Experimental Football League.
Freeman, the 17th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft, will be under center for the Brooklyn Bolts this season.
The FXFL was founded in May 2014 as a developmental league for professional football players. It currently has four teams: the Bolts, Mahoning Valley Brawlers, Hudson Valley Fort, and Florida Blacktips.
Freeman last saw NFL action in 2013 with the Minnesota Vikings. He was released by the Miami Dolphins earlier this month after spending training camp and the preseason with the team.
