Report: Colts meeting with Ahmad Bradshaw
The Indianapolis Colts are meeting with free-agent running back Ahmad Bradshaw on Monday, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
Bradshaw, who spent the past two seasons in limited capacity with Indianapolis, remained unsigned to start the 2015 campaign while serving a one-game suspension.
With the Colts entering the season with a lack of depth at the position, it was likely only a matter of time before the sides discussed a deal.
If signed, Bradshaw would step in as the No. 2 back behind fellow veteran Frank Gore, providing the Colts with some additional value as a receiver out of the backfield.
The 29-year-old appeared in 10 games last season, recording 425 rushing yards and two touchdowns while adding another 300 yards and six scores in the passing game.
