Steelers' Shazier ruled out Monday vs. Chargers

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier will not play in Monday night's game against the San Diego Chargers, the team announced.
Shazier participated in practice this week for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury in Pittsburgh's second regular-season game, but he was held out of the final team session Saturday.
Next week's matchup with the Arizona Cardinals will likely become the new target date for the 2014 first-round pick's return, and Sean Spence should continue to work in a starting role until Shazier's officially cleared.
Shazier was the Steelers' top defensive playmaker through the first two weeks of the season, recording 22 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.
