Manning, McCown among Player of the Week winners

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning took home his third career NFC Offensive Player of the Week award after a 441-yard, three-touchdown performance against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. Manning found tight end Larry Donnell for the game-winning touchdown with 21 seconds to play, capping off an eight-play, 82-yard drive in just 1:24.

Fletcher Cox earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors after recording three sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery in the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the New Orleans Saints. The weekly award is the first of Cox's career.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers kick returner Bobby Rainey was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his impact in a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rainey returned three punts on the day for a total of 85 yards.

AFC

Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in an impressive win over the Baltimore Ravens. McCown completed 36-of-51 passes for a season-high 457 yards and two touchdowns, leading Cleveland to its second victory of the season.

Indianapolis Colts safety Mike Adams took home AFC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his two-interception performance Thursday night against the Houston Texans. One of Adams' two interceptions came on the Texans' final drive, effectively ending the game and giving the Colts their third consecutive win.

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors went to Cincinnati Bengals kicker Mike Nugent. The 11-year veteran converted on a 42-yard field-goal attempt in overtime to knock off the Seattle Seahawks and keep the Bengals undefeated through five weeks.
