Raiders beat Broncos behind Mack's 5-sack domination
The Oakland Raiders entered Sunday with an eight-game losing streak against the Denver Broncos.
Khalil Mack ensured that number did not reach nine.
The second-year linebacker was unstoppable throughout the game, tying a team record with five sacks as the Raiders knocked off Denver 15-12.
Despite the fact Oakland was held to a ridiculous -12 yards on offense in the first half, and mustered only 126 total in the game, the Raiders were able to down the Broncos thanks to their defense.
Mack's five sacks are the most in the NFL since Aldon Smith had 5.5 in 2012. and his third-quarter strip of Brock Osweiler resulted in the Raiders' first safety in four years.
With the win, Oakland remains two games out of the final AFC playoff position, while Osweiler failed in his attempt to become the first Denver quarterback to win his first four starts.
