Marvin Lewis' job is reportedly safe for at least another year.

Despite a disastrous wild-card loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday night, the Cincinnati Bengals aren't planning to make a head coaching change heading into the 2016 season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Lewis has been one of the league's most consistent coaches during his time in Cincinnati, compiling a 112-94-2 record that's highlighted by a particularly impressive mark of 43-20-1 over the past four years.

Retaining his services can thus be considered a sensible decision on the part of ownership, but his team will certainly be expected to breakthrough with some playoff success at some point in the near future.

Lewis remains without a postseason win in his head coaching career, as Saturday's loss now gives him a concerning 0-7 record.

Though his return will maintain continuity for the Bengals heading into next year, it appears likely that there could be changes at some other key positions on his staff.

Now that the team has been eliminated from playoff contention, both offensive coordinator Hue Jackson and defensive coordinator Paul Guenther are set to take interviews for potential head coaching positions of their own.
