The Houston Texans' playoff opener isn't off to the best of starts.
After head coach Bill O'Brien's decision not to let him suit up, Jadeveon Clowney stormed out of the locker room and left the stadium, according to Lisa Salters of ESPN.
The second-year pass-rusher was made inactive as a result of a foot injury that left him questionable to play heading in.
Clowney was indeed upset he wouldn't be able to contribute in the club's playoff game, an update from NFL Network's Jason Palmer indicated, but he departed to deal with a family matter and reportedly returned shortly after.
Though he'd been emerging as an impact player when healthy this season, the Texans still have yet to get the production expected from the 2014 No. 1 overall pick.
Clowney has missed a total of 15 regular-season games over his first two years, and he'll now sit out his first opportunity at postseason action.
