NFL announces Texans, Raiders will play game in Mexico City next season
The NFL will return to Mexico for the first time in more than a decade.
The Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders will play a regular-season game in Mexico City on Nov. 21, league commissioner Roger Goodell confirmed at his annual Super Bowl press conference Friday.
Raiders owner Mark Davis welcomed the news, as did Texans defensive end J.J. Watt:

The matchup marks the first time the NFL will play an international game in a Monday night time slot.
Along with the three games scheduled to be played in London, the Mexico City announcement gives the NFL a total of four games for its International Series in 2016.
The league's last game in Mexico was back in 2005, when the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals took the field in front of a crowd of 103,476 at Estadio Azteca.
