The running backs took part in on-field drills at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday, kicking off the day of work with the 40-yard dash.
Keith Marshall and Tyler Ervin finished the day atop the strong group, with the former setting the pace for the rest of the skill position players set to run over the weekend.
Consensus top running backs Ezekiel Elliott and Derrick Henry placed further down the board, but both posted strong times relative to their respective skill sets.
Devontae Booker and Jordan Howard were among several notable names that did not take part.
