Lions sign cornerback Darrin Walls

The Detroit Lions announced the signing of cornerback Darrin Walls on Tuesday.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
The veteran spent the last four seasons with the New York Jets and started 16 games over that span, including 12 in 2014.
Walls should serve as depth for the Lions, and will likely be asked to contribute on special teams.
