Capitals' Alzner out for Game 3 with upper-body injury

The Washington Capitals will be without shutdown defenseman Karl Alzner for Game 3 on Monday against the Toronto Maple Leafs, according to Isabelle Khurshudyan of the Washington Post.
This will mark the first time Alzner has missed a game since the 2010 playoffs, snapping a streak of 599 consecutive games played.
ate Schmidt will suit up in place of Alzner.
