Winnipeg Jets head coach Paul Maurice said winger Patrik Laine will miss Monday's game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs due to an upper-body injury, according to Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston.
Laine left Winnipeg's practice early on Sunday, with Maurice saying the star forward couldn't "warm up right."
Here's a look at the Jets' projected lineup without Laine:
Winnipeg won the only game it's played this season. Laine played a massive part in the club's opening victory, registering two goals - including the overtime winner - and an assist.
