Avs get Landeskog back for Game 1 vs. Predators
Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog returned to the lineup for Game 1 against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.
He contributed one goal and one assist during Colorado's 7-2 shellacking of Nashville.
Landeskog last played March 10, missing the final 23 games of the regular season. He underwent knee surgery March 14.
The 29-year-old is coming off his most productive campaign on a per-game basis, as he registered 30 goals and 29 assists in 51 contests.
The Avalanche dealt with numerous injuries this season. However, they finally have a full lineup at their disposal, with the exception of defenseman Ryan Murray, who's out with an upper-body injury, per the Denver Post's Kyle Fredrickson. Alex Newhook, Logan O'Connor, Jack Johnson, and Kurtis MacDermid were among the team's most notable healthy scratches.
