Edmonton Oilers enforcer Zack Kassian was fined $2,500 on Friday for his unsportsmanlike conduct during Game 2 against the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday.
Kassian ripped off Bowen Byram's helmet after the Avs defender was hit into the Oilers' bench by Josh Archibald.
Byram and Kassian were both assessed two-minute minors on the play.
Kassian has been suspended five times in his 11-year NHL career.
Colorado won the contest 4-0 to take a 2-0 series lead.
