The Columbus Blue Jackets signed forward Jack Roslovic to a two-year contract extension carrying an average annual value of $4 million, the team announced Tuesday.

Roslovic was set to become a restricted free agent with arbitration rights.

The 25-year-old set career highs with 22 goals, 23 assists, and 45 points in his first full season with the Blue Jackets in 2021-22. He skated in 81 games and averaged 14:17 per contest.

Roslovic was acquired from the Winnipeg Jets in January 2021 along with Patrik Laine in exchange for Pierre-Luc Dubois and a third-round pick. He recorded 34 points in 48 games upon joining the Blue Jackets last season.

The Columbus, Ohio, native was chosen 25th overall by the Jets in the 2015 draft.
