The Colorado Avalanche have re-signed restricted free-agent winger Artturi Lehkonen to a five-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
The deal carries an average annual value of $4.5 million, per TSN's Pierre LeBrun.
Lehkonen was acquired by the Avs from the Montreal Canadiens at the 2022 trade deadline in exchange for a 2024 second-round pick and prospect Justin Barron. He recorded 19 goals and 19 assists in 74 games, split between the two clubs.
The 27-year-old was also integral in Colorado's Stanley Cup triumph. He tallied eight goals and six assists in 20 postseason contests, including the series-clinching overtime winner in Game 4 of the Western Conference Final against the Edmonton Oilers.
