The Arizona Coyotes signed forward Nick Bjugstad to a two-year contract, the team announced Saturday.
His contract carries a $2.1-million cap hit, PHNX Sports' Craig Morgan reports.
Bjugstad, who turns 31 soon, scored 13 goals and 23 points in 59 games with the Coyotes last season before they traded him to the Edmonton Oilers prior to the deadline.
The 6-foot-6 center played a depth role with the Oilers in the postseason, accruing three goals in 12 playoff contests.
Bjugstad also featured for the Florida Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Minnesota Wild in his 618-game career.
