Defenseman Nikita Zadorov was fined $5,000 for his cross-check earlier Monday.
Soucy will be unavailable for Tuesday's Game 4 with the Canucks holding a 2-1 series lead. He called the play unfortunate due to the timing of Zadorov's cross-check and said he didn't intend to hit McDavid high, according to Sportsnet's Brendan Batchelor.
