Montreal Canadiens forward Rafael Harvey-Pinard will miss four months after undergoing surgery Thursday to repair a broken leg, the team announced.
The timing means Harvey-Pinard will likely miss most of the first two months of the 2024-25 season.
The 25-year-old tallied 10 points in 45 games with the Habs last season and recorded 14 goals and six assists in 34 contests in 2022-23.
The Canadiens drafted the 5-foot-9 winger in the seventh round in 2019.
