The St. Louis Blues traded defenseman Pierre-Olivier Joseph to the Pittsburgh Penguins for future considerations, the teams announced Wednesday.
Joseph had two assists and 23 penalty minutes in 23 games with the Blues.
The 25-year-old played for the Penguins from 2020-24. Joseph wasn't qualified by Pittsburgh in the summer and signed a one-year contract with St. Louis worth $950,000.
Joseph tallied eight goals and 37 points in 147 contests during his first stint with the Penguins. He was initially acquired by Pittsburgh in 2019 as part of the trade that sent Phil Kessel to the Arizona Coyotes.
Joseph had reunited with his brother Mathieu in St. Louis.
