4 Nations final staff picks: Canada or USA?
The second volume of Canada versus USA is here.
The two North American rivals are set to square off in what should be an epic clash in the 4 Nations Face-Off final Thursday at 8 p.m. ET in Boston. Will Canada continue its reign as hockey's greatest nation with a fourth straight best-on-best tournament victory? Or will the upstart Americans finally take the crown?
Below, our hockey writers make their predictions for the game, as well as tournament MVP.
In a game between two evenly matched rosters, it's no surprise our writers are mixed on the outcome. There's an equal split on who will emerge victorious. However, a tight, lower-scoring game is predicted across the board.
Connor McDavid and Connor Hellebuyck are our favorites to take home tournament MVP honors, though it's entirely possible another candidate claims the award with a monster game in the final.
