The Seattle Kraken activated Yanni Gourde off injured reserve ahead of Tuesday's clash with the Minnesota Wild.
Gourde hadn't played since Jan. 2, missing 22 games with a sports hernia injury that required surgery in late January. He was given a five-to-seven-week timeline on Jan. 31.
The 33-year-old pending unrestricted free agent is one of the top trade candidates ahead of Friday's deadline. A two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Tampa Bay Lightning, the pesky center has six goals and 10 assists in 35 games this season.
