Winnipeg Jets defenseman Neal Pionk is week-to-week with a lower-body injury, head coach Scott Arniel announced Friday, per TSN's John Lu.
Arniel added that Pionk has been playing through the injury for an unspecified period.
The 29-year-old ranks second among Jets defensemen in average time on ice (22:09) and points (37), trailing only Josh Morrissey.
Trade-deadline pickup Luke Schenn will take Pionk's place on the second pair with Dylan Samberg.
