Kenny Albert will succeed Sam Rosen.
MSG Networks announced Tuesday that it named Albert the lead TV play-by-play announcer for its coverage of the New York Rangers.
Rosen, who's been calling Rangers games since 1984, announced prior to the start of the 2024-25 campaign that he would retire after the season.
Albert, the son of legendary broadcaster Marv Albert, is currently the play-by-play lead for the NHL on TNT. He's also previously called NFL, MLB, and NBA games.
