Tyler Seguin is back just before the playoffs get underway.
The Dallas Stars forward was activated off long-term injured reserve and returned to the lineup for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Nashville Predators.
Seguin underwent hip surgery in December and missed the previous 58 games. He last suited up Dec. 1.
The 33-year-old veteran tallied nine goals and 11 assists in 19 contests before the injury. He offers the Stars another option in one of the NHL's deepest forward groups.
Seguin has 49 points in 42 career games against the Colorado Avalanche - Dallas' Round 1 opponent.
