Jets' Samberg out 6-8 weeks with broken wrist

Samberg recorded 20 points in 60 games last season, averaging 21:08 per contest. He was a team-high plus-34.
Logan Stanley, Haydn Fleury, and Ville Heinola are among the candidates to replace Samberg on the team's second defense pair alongside Neal Pionk to begin the season.
The Jets signed Samberg, 26, to a three-year contract with a $5.75-million average annual value this offseason.
