Columbus Blue Jackets forward Mathieu Olivier received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for boarding Vancouver Canucks defenseman Elias Pettersson on Saturday.
Olivier caught Pettersson with a hit from behind, leaving the blue-liner slow to get to his feet.
That is a dirty, dirty hit by Mathieu Olivier on Elias Pettersson (D). Right through the numbers, bounced Pettersson's head off the stanchion. Rightfully gets a five-minute major and a game misconduct. #Canucks pic.twitter.com/EjWdnzBdpb

The Canucks failed to score on the ensuing five-minute power play.
The NHL has never suspended Olivier in his seven-year career despite his reputation as an enforcer.
