Bobrovsky passes Plante for 9th place on all-time wins list
Florida Panthers netminder Sergei Bobrovsky passed the legendary Jacques Plante for sole possession of ninth place on the NHL's all-time wins list with Monday's victory over the Vancouver Canucks.
It wasn't a performance to remember for Bobrovsky, who allowed five goals on 15 shots, but it was enough to secure the win with eight goals of support from his Panthers teammates.

*Denotes Hall of Famer
Sawchuk, Joseph, and Lundqvist are within Bobrovsky's reach this season. With nine wins already on the year, Bobrovksy needs 22 more to pass Lundqvist for sixth place. A 31-win season is a lot to ask of a 37-year-old, but Bobrovsky has reached that total in three of the last four campaigns.
Bobrovsky hasn't indicated how many more years he might play in the NHL. Notably, he's in the final year of his contract.
A surefire future Hall of Famer, Bobrovsky has won two Stanley Cups and two Vezina Trophies in his storied 16-year career.
