Chicago Blackhawks star Connor Bedard is irked with the hit that injured linemate Andre Burakovsky during Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken.

"It's back-to-back games guys going right to the head," Bedard told reporters postgame. "Nothing really happens. I think that sucks, he's a great player. It's bullshit."

Here's a look at the hit from Kraken defenseman Ryan Lindgren that knocked Burakovsky out of the game. Lindgren wasn't penalized.

Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill also disagreed with the non-call.

"He doesn't have the puck and he gets hit square in the head," Blashill said, shrugging his shoulders.

Blashill ruled out Burakovsky for Friday's game against the Buffalo Sabres, but he didn't provide an update beyond that.

Bedard has enjoyed a breakout season playing primarily alongside Burakovsky, racking up 29 points in 20 games. It's been a resurgent campaign for Burakovsky, who's tallied seven goals and eight assists in 18 appearances with Chicago after being acquired from Seattle in the offseason.
